Village Hat Shop
The Mission
Take the Village Hat Shop’s brand to the next level by creating a campaign that tipped its hat to timeless country chic style. With Lack of Color, Akubra, and Jaxon Hats in tow—and a local photographer, James Gillcrist, behind the lens.
The Idea
Combine storytelling, stunning visuals, and a dash of rustic charm to create a campaign that celebrated the versatility of country-inspired hats while appealing to modern trendsetters. From developing the vision to styling the shots, the campaign needed to capture both the romance of rural charm and the allure of modern trends.
What I Did
Hatched the Vision: Co-conceptualized the Country Chic campaign, blending countryside nostalgia with a fashion-forward flair that resonated with audiences.
Choreographed the Photoshoot: Collaborated with James Gillcrist to stage stunning, sun-drenched visuals that made every hat look like the star of its own western film.
Social Sass: Wrote and posted social media content that made followers swoon, combining tip and trick captions with scroll-stopping imagery.
Brand Bromance: Partnered with heavy-hitter brands to weave their hats seamlessly into the campaign, proving that style can straddle the line between rugged and refined.
Consistency is Key: Ensured every piece of the campaign, from the first snap to the final hashtag, felt like a perfectly stitched ribbon on a wide-brimmed masterpiece.
The Glow-Up
The Country Chic campaign brought fresh eyes to the Village Hat Shop, elevating the perception of country-inspired fashion and solidifying the brand’s reputation as a leader in the hat industry.
IN SHORT: I turned cowboy into couture, taking the Village Hat Shop’s social feeds and campaigns to new, stylish heights. A full-on fashion stampede. Yeehaw, but make it stylish.
